Burglary Arrests

  During the past several weeks numerous residential burglaries (in excess of twenty) have taken place through-out the County. Entry to homes has been gained by forcing open doors. Items taken have included T.V. sets, and jewelry.  Winnebago County Sheriff’s Detectives along with Rockford Police Detectives and Patrol Officers of both agencies have worked together on this series of burglaries. The investigation has resulted in the arrests of two subjects.  Both were taken into custody on Friday 1-24-13. Charged with Residential Burglary are: -1 Robert Burns (DOB 7-30-78)-2 Anthony F. Ollie (DOB 7-15-84) Both Burns and Ollie live in Rockford. The investigation is on-going. The charges against Burns and Ollie are merely accusations. They are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
