Missing Person

 Jonathan Anthony Williams ( black/male DOB 9-17-85) is missing. He was last seen on Saturday 7-23-11 during the evening hours while tubing on the Kiswaukee River with a friend. Williams had entered the river with his friend at approximately 1500hrs near Bauman Park in Cherry Valley. They each had a tube, along with a third tube with a cooler. At some point they separated and the friend exited the River near Kiswaukee Forest Preserve, after he lost sight of Williams. Williams was reported missing later that night by family and friends. A search of the Kiswaukee River has been conducted by air and boat (Cherry Valley Fire Department boat) and there was no sign of Williams or his tube, which was described as red and yellow. Anyone with information on Williams is asked to call the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police Detective Bureau (815/3196400). A photo of Williams accompanies this release.
