Burglary Arrests Short Stop Gas Station Seward Illinois

    On Friday November 7, 2008 Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the Short Stop Gas Station in Seward, Illinois in response to a burglary alarm. Upon arrival they determined that forced entry had been made to the building and they took two subjects in custody as they exited the building. Both men have been charged with burglary. Both men are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. At this point due to the on-going investigation photos are not being released. CHARGED #1 Charles K. Kerr (male DOB 2-26-91/17yrs old)/ Pecatonica, Illinois #2 Nicholas S. Thompson (male DOB 12-14-89/18 yrs old)/Winnebago, Illinois Both men are lodged in the Winnebago County Jail.
