Gun Arrests

On Tuesday January 14,2014 members of the Winnebago County Violent Crime Task Force assisted Agents of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms with an investigation of the illegal sale of a shotgun.

As a result of the investigation two men were taken into custody and a pistol grip shotgun was recovered.

The arrest took place in the 4900 block of Kiswaukee St. at approximately 11:40a.m.

A vehicle was stopped by Detectives and Agents and the suspects taken into custody.

The below listed men were arrested.

#1 Desmond O. Glasoe (male DOB 8-23-95/18yrs old)

Glasoe is charged with Unlawful Use of Weapons by a felon, Unlawful sale of a Firearm and Parole Violation.

#2 Jesse F. Johannes (male DOB 9-30-94/19yrs old)

Johannes is charged with Unlawful sale of a Firearm and Violation of the Firearm Owners Identification Card Act.

Glasoe is an alleged member of the Satin Disciple street gang.

Both men have been lodged in the Winnebago County Jail.

Glasoe and Johannes are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
