Shooting/ 700 Plaisance Ave

   At approximately 1:20a.m.on Sunday June 20, 2010 Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the 700 block of Plaisance Ave in regards to a shooting. Upon arrival Deputies found that several rounds had been fired and two homes had been struck in the 700 block. In addition two shooting victims arrived at a Rockford Hospital. Both had non-life threatening wounds. Lucien L. Horton (58 yr old male) was shot while sleeping in a van parked at 729 Plaisance Ave. Antonio L. Horton (44yr old male) was shot inside of 729 Plaisance Ave, when a round penetrated the home. At this point further details are not available. It is unknown if the suspect (s) fired from a vehicle or were on foot or if the Horton’s were the intended targets. Follow-up investigation is being conducted by Winnebago County Sheriff’s Detectives. Anyone with information is asked to call the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department or Crimestoppers.   .
