Visitation Hours

All inmate visits will be done during the day on the weekends only.  The visit week starts on Saturday and ends on Sunday.

Visits will be limited to 15 minutes for all inmates. Visits must be arranged by an inmate and requests must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the visit.

7:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m. 9:30 a.m.
1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Sunday

8:00 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m.
1:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.

Visits are limited to one adult and last for 15 minutes for inmates in general population, and 15 minutes for inmates in segregation. All personal visits will be conducted via video visitation and take place at the Winnebago County Justice Center, 650 West State Street, Rockford, IL 61102, in the video visitation room. No cell phones are allowed in the visitation area. Officers are not responsible for a visitor's personal property. 

Visitors MUST report at least 15 minutes before the scheduled visit time or their visit will be cancelled.

Attorneys, pre-trial, probation, and clergy from recognized religious groups shall be permitted to visit inmates from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. An area for interview shall be provided in either video visitation or the housing unit interview rooms to ensure privacy. Proper identification must be provided.

Visitation is closed from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., 12:00 noon to 12:30 p.m., 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and after 5:30 p.m.

With all visits, proper identification must be provided, and all property is subject to a search.
