On Wednesday February 12, 2014 at approximately 6:15 P.M. members of the Violent Crime Task Force (consisting of detectives of the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department, the Rockford Police Department, the Loves Park Police Department, the Illinois State Police and Agents of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms) along with Officers of the Rockford Police Department District 2 Neighborhood Response Unit, conducted a search warrant at 1730 Mobile Home Ave in Rockford.
This home had been the scene of a prior shots fired incident handled by the Rockford Police Department.
During the execution of the warrant in excess of 1100 grams of suspected marijuana and a .25 caliber pistol were recovered.
The following people were charged and lodged in the Winnebago County Jail. They are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

-Unlawful Use of a weapon by a felon
- No Firearm Owners Identification Card.
- Violation of the Cannabis Control Act (possession with intent to deliver)
-2 Joseph D. Walker (DOB 6-22-93)/ 1730 Mobile Home Ave.
- Unlawful Use of Weapons
- Violation of the Cannabis Control Act (possession with intent to deliver)
- No Firearm Owners Identification Card.
- 3 County Failure to Appear warrants.
-3 Kaitlynn N. Shilmon (DOB 6-12-94)/ 1730 Mobile Home Ave.
- Unlawful Use of Weapons (brass Knuckles)
- Violation of the Cannabis Control Act (possession with intent to deliver)
- No Firearms Owners Identification Card.
