Reckless Homicide Arrest

   On October 2, 2011 husband and wife Ronald Young (73yrs old) and Darlene Young (72yrs old), were killed in an auto accident which took place in the 6900 block of South Main St. The accident was investigated by Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies. The results of the investigation were presented to a Grand Jury by the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office and an indictment was returned charging the driver of the 2^nd vehicle, Brett G. Alexander (male DOB 11-29-90) with the following: -       3 counts of Reckless Homicide-       3 counts of Aggravated Reckless Driving resulting in death/injury-       2 counts of Aggravated Driving under the influence of drugs resulting in death/injury Alexander was arrested on June 8, 2012 and lodged in the Winnebago County Jail. The charges against Alexander are merely accusations. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
