On Wednesday May 14, 2008 the following additional charges were placed on Jonathon Christopher Powell (male, DOB 4-13-68). Powell is detained in the Winnebago County Jail, on sexual assault charges. The charges lodged today are the result of a continuing investigation by Winnebago County Sheriff’s Detectives. They involve a female victim separate from the original victim. The charges against Powell are merely accusations. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. -2 counts of Criminal Sexual Abuse (no bond)
