Narrative: On 09-18-2014 at 8:23 am the Winnebago County 911 Communications Center received a 911 call from the CVS Pharmacy in Machesney Park. The caller advised that an armed subject had entered the pharmacy and was committing a robbery. Upon arrival, Sheriff’s Deputies learned that the suspect was no longer present inside the business.
The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years of age with a stocky build. He was wearing a long tan colored trench coat and a blue/orange ski mask. He was armed with a rifle. Once inside, the suspect went directly to the pharmacy counter. He confronted an employee there and demanded prescription medications. The suspect then fled the store and was last seen on foot heading north from the business.
