Available Shelter In Winnebago County

 Narrative: Due to power outages throughout winnebago county and the forecast for sub-freezing temperatures into the night, the Red Cross will be opening a shelter at Hilltop ministries located at 8301 mitchell Road in Roscoe.  The shelter should be open by 8:00 PM this evening.  Individuals who plan to use the shelter are encouraged to bring any medication and personal items that they may need.  For additional information or to report any storm damage, you can contact the Winnebago County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency at (815) 319-6215 throughout the evening.
