   During the past several weeks numerous residential burglaries have taken place in rural Winnebago County. Un-occupied homes have been entered by having doors forced open. Large screen T.V.’s and electronic items have been taken. Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies have conducted an investigation which identified a vehicle and a suspect, Terry Gene Yoho (male DOB 11-7-60/52yrs old). Yoho lives in Machesney Park, Illinois. On Wednesday March 6, 2013 at approximately 11:00a.m. a burglary to a home took place in Ogle County on McGregor Rd. Winnebago County Sheriff’s Detectives were in the area and with the assistance of Patrol Deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Yoho shortly after the burglary. The vehicle was stopped at Cunningham and Meridian. Ogle County Sheriff’s Detectives were contacted and assisted with the investigation. Yoho has been charged with Residential Burglary in Ogle County. Investigation into other similar burglaries continues by Winnebago and Ogle County Detectives. Additional charges are possible. The charge against Yoho is merely an accusation. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
