Narcotic Search Warrant (arrest)

  On Thursday July 28,2011 at approximately 7:00a.m. members of the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police Metro Narcotic Unit executed a search warrant at 1607 25^th St, Rockford, Illinois. During the execution of the warrant in excess of 100 grams of heroin and 30 grams of crack cocaine was recovered, along with two handguns and United States Currency. Rishawn Lavell Jones (male, 25yrs old/DOB 9-24-85) was located in the residence and has been charged as follows: -       Violation of the Illinois Controlled Substances Act (possession with intent to deliver between 100-400 grams of heroin) -       Violation of the Illinois Controlled Substances Act (possession with intent to deliver between 15-100 grams of Crack Cocaine) -       Armed Violence -       Unlawful Use of Weapons by a felon -       No Firearms Owner Identification card The charges against Jones are merely accusations. He is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. A photo of Jones is attached to this release.
