Robbery

  On the afternoon of Thursday May 24, 2012 Winnebago County Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the area of the Minns Dr. Machesney Park, in reference to a robbery. Upon arrival they spoke to two males who indicated that they had been robbed while on the Bike Path in the 4900 block of Minns Dr. The victims advised that they had been approached by two suspects, one of whom indicated that he had a knife and they demanded their property. The suspects obtained property from the victims and fled the area on foot. Sheriff’s Deputies in the area located two subjects who matched the description and took them into custody. They were turned over to Detectives who continued with the investigation. They have been identified as Mikhael L. Foster (male DOB 7-24-93) and Dustin T. Young (male DOB 9-23-90). Both Foster and Young have been charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery. They are being held in the Winnebago County Jail. The charges against Foster and Young are merely accusations. They are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
