Narrative: The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Police Division of Court Security recently received four first responder emergency medical kits donated by Metro Medical Services of Loves Park.

Deputies assigned to court security are responsible for overseeing the safety of staff and the public and currently respond to five Winnebago County buildings in the Downtown Rockford area. Quite often, these deputies respond to medical emergencies ranging from heart attacks to lacerations. Metro Medical Services Owner Stuart Brown and Manager Jeff Stringer assembled four fully equipped over-the-shoulder medical kits enabling deputies to more quickly respond to emergencies. Previously, deputies shared one first aid kit between five buildings.

Metro Medical Services donation to the county is valued at approximately $1,200.00. The County appreciates the company’s generosity.
