Narrative: The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Department and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources are hosting a Boat Safety Class in Rockford.

The class will be held Saturday, May 16 between 8 am and 5 pm at the Riverview Ice House, 324 North Madison Street. Boating Instructor Reggie Peterson will conduct the class, which is free and open to the public.
